MyOpenClaw

OpenClaw Alternative

The OpenClaw Alternative That Takes 90 Seconds

Self-hosting OpenClaw is powerful. It's also 4-8 hours of config, Docker errors, SSL certificates, and ongoing maintenance. MyOpenClaw gives you the same AI — working in 90 seconds, zero DevOps.

Why people stop self-hosting

These aren't edge cases — they're the majority of the self-hosted OpenClaw experience.

4-8 hours to set up

Node.js, PM2, reverse proxy, SSL cert, JSON config files, port forwarding. Before you've sent a single message.

Config errors kill it

80% of self-hosted OpenClaw support requests are the same 20 config mistakes. One wrong key in openclaw.json crashes everything.

Exposed by default

135,000+ self-hosted instances are publicly reachable without authentication. The default config binds to 0.0.0.0.

Maintenance never ends

OpenClaw ships frequent updates with breaking changes. Staying current means reading changelogs and manually updating on your schedule.

Infrastructure is your problem

Power outages, memory leaks, process crashes, disk space — if your machine dies at 2am, your AI is offline.

FAQ

Common questions about the OpenClaw alternative

No. MyOpenClaw.cloud is an independent managed hosting service, not affiliated with or endorsed by the OpenClaw open-source project. We host the official open-source software and handle all the infrastructure for you.
Yes — you get the full OpenClaw experience including persistent memory, multi-channel integrations, skill installation, multi-agent teams, and BYOK (bring your own API key). The only things not available are local model inference (Ollama) and deep Apple ecosystem access (Notes, iMessage), which require running on-device.
Yes. Your OpenClaw data (memory, config, skills) lives in /data on your machine. You can export it and we can help you move it to your MyOpenClaw instance. Reach out to hello@myopenclaw.cloud and we'll walk you through it.
Your instance runs on a dedicated Fly.io machine — isolated from other users. We cannot read your conversations or memory files. Your API keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We follow the same privacy model as the self-hosted version.
A VPS still requires you to install Node.js, configure OpenClaw, set up SSL, configure a reverse proxy, handle updates, and monitor uptime. MyOpenClaw gives you a fully configured, auto-updating, monitored OpenClaw instance with a custom subdomain — none of the infrastructure work.
The Starter plan is $29/month. It includes a dedicated 2GB machine, custom subdomain, all integrations, and BYOK (bring your own AI API key). There's no free tier, but you can cancel anytime — no contracts.
