Day 2: Quick Start
"Don't be intimidated by the word 'deploy.' If you can make instant noodles, you can set up an AI assistant. About the same amount of time — 10 minutes."
Today's Goal
By the end of today, you'll have a message on your phone from your AI assistant.
Not someone else's assistant. Not a demo. Your own, running just for you.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Go to myopenclaw.cloud/signup and sign up with Google, GitHub, or email.
Step 2: Claim Your Username
Pick a username — this becomes your permanent subdomain: yourname.myopenclaw.cloud. Choose something you'll be happy with; it's your assistant's home address.
Step 3: Choose a Plan
All plans include all integrations (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack) and automatic updates.
Step 4: Add Your AI API Key
OpenClaw uses your own API key — you pay your AI provider directly, keeping costs transparent. Popular choices:
Getting an API key takes about 2 minutes: create a free account at your provider of choice, generate a key, and paste it into your MyOpenClaw dashboard.
Step 5: Connect Telegram (Recommended for Day 2)
Telegram is the easiest first channel to set up:
/newbot and follow the prompts to name your bot1234567890:ABCdefGhIJKlmNoPQRstuVWXyzStep 6: Say Hello
Open Telegram, find your bot, and send "Hello." Your AI assistant should reply within a few seconds.
Congratulations. You have a personal AI assistant. Now let's make it truly yours.Tomorrow: personality, memory, and making it feel like your assistant.
